Industrial membrane WWTP BC 400 MBR Oppigårds Bryggeri AB treats wastewater from a brewery near the Swedish town of Hedemora. The brewery has a wastewater production of 2.2 million l/year. Wastewater has very high organic pollution at the inlet with variable quality.

MBR technology can treat this wastewater to a very satisfactory quality to meet Sweden's strict treatment requirements.

The technological line consists of a buffer tank, fine machine screens, activation, membrane separation, chemical management and sludge management.
